The Local is a retail brand focused on celebrating independent makers and regional British products. We curate high-quality, locally made goods into thoughtful, experience-led offerings — combining e-commerce with physical retail.

Independent producers often lack visibility, while customers struggle to discover high-quality, locally made products in a meaningful way. Retail experiences in this space are often fragmented or transactional.

We approached The Local as both a product and a brand challenge — creating a cohesive experience that connects discovery, storytelling and purchase. The goal was to build something distinctive, not just functional.

— Defined the brand, proposition and product strategy — Designed the e-commerce experience and customer journeys — Curated product selection and supplier network — Developed a retail model combining digital and physical presence
